A badge is easy.
Verification takes work.

We look beyond the claims on a trainer's own website. Every listing passes three layers of independent review before it reaches dog owners.

01

Credentials

We check the trainer's name in the certifying body's own directory—CCPDT, Karen Pryor Academy, IAABC, or Fear Free. We never trust a pasted badge by itself.

02

Methods screen

No shock collars, prong collars, “dominance” or “alpha” methods, or guaranteed results. Vetted exclusively lists force-free, reward-based professionals.

03

Legitimacy

Professional liability insurance and business licensing are confirmed. Reviews are audited for recency, patterns, and responsible responses to criticism.

Trust is maintained, not assumed.

Listings are re-verified annually. Credible concerns can trigger a fresh review, and a listing may be suspended while that review is underway.
